Today, NOV 4, marks the discovery anniversary of the world famous Tomb of Pharaoh Tut Ankh Amun. His Majesty was nick named the Child Pharaoh as he ascended the throne at the age of 9 and died at the age of 18. His death remains to be one of the mostly disputed events in Egypt’s ancient history.
His Tomb in Valley of the Kings, Luxor, had been discovered by Howard Carter in 1922. It took him 10 years to clear the tomb of its contents. I will later on post some more details on discovery story as i have a whole lecture dedicated to the discovery. Meanwhile, here are some of His Majesty’s golden treasures.
